Report: Cardinals Will Trade DeAndre Hopkins This Week

In this story:
The Arizona Cardinals have been working to find a trade for receiver DeAndre Hopkins since the early days of the offseason, but no major bites have come just yet.
There's a few reasons as to why a deal hasn't been made yet. There's speculation the Cardinals are simply trying to ask for too much in a return for Hopkins, while others believe the market isn't robust for him considering his age, contract and recent injury/suspension history.
However, the league knows all too well what a healthy Hopkins looks like on the field, and thus numerous teams have been linked with the receiver. Though no significant movement has happened just yet, the Cardinals are reportedly going to deal him at some point this week - likely during the 2023 NFL Draft according to Adam "Pacman" Jones on the Pat McAfee Show.
"He will be... My sources say so. Real soon. Strong, strong possibility. Like this week, Thursday," said Jones, a former NFL corner and good friend of Hopkins.

Teams such as the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons and Las Vegas Raiders have been tied to Hopkins at some point during the offseason.
Last week, Jones himself said there was a strong possibility that Hopkins winds up in Baltimore. Lamar Jackson reportedly told the Ravens to acquire both Hopkins and Odell Beckham Jr. before he continued contract negotiations with them.
Though his final destination is unknown, it sure feels like we're approaching the end of Hopkins' days with the Cardinals.
