Chargers News: Bolts Elevate Two Practice Squad Players for Crucial Matchup With Ravens

Ahead of the Bolts' must-win Sunday Night Football bout with the Ravens, two players from the practice squad have been elevated.

Erickson is a 31-year old wide receiver and return specialist who is in his first campaign as a part of the Chargers' organization. Back in 2016, the Wisconsin product led the NFL in kickoff return yards.

He's slowed down, however, having been on 3 teams since the start of last season.

Kampmoyer is one of Justin Herbert's former tight ends at Oregon. The 6-foot-4 undrafted free agent has been a Bolt since 2021, where he's moved around from the practice squad and active roster regularly.

The Chargers will have several players inactive tomorrow, prompting the elevation of these two skill players. Notably, safety JT Woods and tight end Nick Vannett have been ruled out.

This is a critical game for the Bolts, as falling to 4-7 all but eliminates this talented squad from playoff contention. Let's see if they can rise to the test.
