Karma or Sweet Nothing? Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Reportedly 'Hanging Out'

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and international superstar Taylor Swift have, reportedly, "linked up." Please adjust your fantasy football lineups accordingly.
As reported by The Messenger, Kelce and Swift "have been quietly hanging out," according to an unnamed source. The Messenger's source added that Swift "saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago."
This is now just the latest time a Swift-Kelce story has made news, as Kelce discussed his first chance to connect with Swift in an episode of New Heights when he detailed his failed attempt to give Swift his phone number during her The Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City in July.
"I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," Kelce said. "She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show."
In August, Kelce was asked about that incompletion on NFL Network, when he declined to provide any additional insight.
"I said what I said and I meant what I said when I said it," Kelce said. "It is what it is. I’m not going to talk about my personal life. I know what you writers want to hear. You want to hear more about that, and I’m not going to give you anything."
Kelce's star rose beyond football throughout a high-profile 2022 NFL season culminating in a Super Bowl LVII victory. In the week leading up to the Super Bowl in which Travis would face off with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, national media attention surrounded the entire Kelce family. Travis's offseason culminated with his chance to host Saturday Night Live in March and the Kelce Jam music festival in Kansas City during the NFL Draft.
For now, that's all we know about the Swift-Kelce connection, which is probably for the best. The Patrick Mahomes-Kelce connection should return against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, presuming that Kelce's hyperextended knee doesn't give him any more trouble when he walks in.
