Kentucky quarterback and 2023 NFL Draft prospect Will Levis finished up his pro day on Friday, and shortly after, it was revealed that the Indianapolis Colts will be hosting Levis for a top-30 visit.

This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise given that all of the top quarterback prospects (Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Hendon Hooker, and Levis) may have a top-30 visit with Indianapolis. Hooker already has/had a visit scheduled with the Colts. Even with this, it is still intriguing what general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen may see in the Kentucky product.

Through Levis’ time to showcase his throwing in front of potential NFL suitors, he displayed his incredible passing power. Each rep seems to effortlessly leave his hands and never had issues with velocity. Whether they were short or deep routes, Levis always had excellent zip on his passes.

It is fair to say he had a couple of inaccurate throws, usually due to the “go 100 mph” speed that Levis operates at. He also tends to close off his feet on outside throws to the left. But, with a coach like Steichen to help him develop and smooth out those rough edges, Levis could operate well in the Colts' offense. He may need time, but it could be what the Colts are preparing for after bringing in veteran signal-caller Gardner Minshew.

There is also a chance that Levis could start from day one with Steichen. If you were to ask Levis if he’s ready to start in the first game, he believes in himself to be able to do so.

Levis has his Pro Day in the books. With the University of Florida’s Richardson remaining, we will see what Ballard and Steichen jot down for notes. The Colts' future QB is potentially in the mix. Could it be the strong-armed Levis? We’ll just have to wait another month to find out.
