Colts Rival Watch: Jags to Lose Starter to Suspension

In this story:
The Indianapolis Colts offseason has been relatively quiet leading up to the NFL Draft. That's not always a bad thing. The Jacksonville Jaguars are losing starting left tackle Cam Robinson to a suspension according to a report from JaguarReport's John Shipley.
Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson will be suspended at the start of the 2023 season, per a source close to the situation. Robinson is in his seventh season after the Jaguars made him a second-round pick out of Alabama. He struggled early in his career but according to Pro Football Focus (PFF) he has shown steady, if no meteoric improvement, every year.
Last season Robinson finished with a 67.2 grade on 14 starts. He started two games last season against the Colts and gave up a sack.
The Jaguars also lost offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. Taylor scored a monster 4-year, $80 million deal in the open market from the Chiefs.
With the NFL Draft beginning tonight, all eyes will be on the Colts at No. 4. They appear to be in good position to get their choice of quarterbacks unless teams hop the queue in a trade up.
How Robinson's suspension will affect what the Jaguars do at No. 24 remains to be seen. They also have the 56th and 88th pick in the draft should they decide to get some insurance at offensive tackle.
