A-P History!

Adrian Peterson has done it again. Another touchdown and more NFL history during the Redskins home finale against the New York Giants.
With his 111th career rush TD, @AdrianPeterson broke a tie with Hall of Famer Walter Payton (110) and now has sole possession of the 4th-most rush TD in NFL history.#NYGvsWAS | @Redskins

The touchdown was set up by a Nate Orchard blocked punt for Washington and came in the midst of a fourth quarter comeback on Sunday.
From last week, Peterson saluted his teammate Terry McLaurin for helping him tie Walter Payton.

Congrats A-P! The Redskins lost 41-35 in overtime to the New York Giants, which isn't the worst thing for those of us that are more interested in the No. 2 overall pick and the leverage that comes with it.
Peterson and the Redskins finish the season in Dallas this Sunday at 4:25 ET. Hopefully, it's not his final game with Washington.
