Dallas Cowboys Vs New Orleans Saints Gameday Open Thread
Matthew Emmons - USA Today Sports

The Dallas Cowboys will take on the New Orleans Saints in primetime at 7:20 p.m. CT on NBC as they look to go 4-0 to open the season for the first time since the 2007-2008 season under Wade Phillips when they started the season 5-0 and finished with a 13-3 record.

The Saints will enter their second consecutive game with backup Teddy Bridgewater as the starter under center after Drew Brees suffered a thumb injury in week 2. Bridgewater won his first start as a Saint in a 33-27 week three victory over the Seattle Seahawks, with Bridgwater throwing for 177 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

After a rough couple of weeks on the injury front, the Cowboys finally have some good news in the health department, with starting safety Xavier Woods set to make his return to the lineup after missing last week's matchup with the Dolphins.

The Cowboys will still be without defensive linemen Antwan Woods, Tyrone Crawford, and wide receiver Michael Gallup on Sunday night, however, with Gallup's full recovery from knee surgery still a couple of weeks away.

A Lousiana native, Prescott will be playing his first game in the Superdome, having grown up just a few hours North in Haughton, Lousiana, and playing his college football in Mississippi at Mississippi State.
