Dallas Cowboys receiver T.Y. Hilton did his thing in the AFC South for a decade, dominating opposing secondaries with best bud and now-retired Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

But one of the Colts' old divisional foes has been making headlines, as former Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has taken social media by storm with recent comments on a Barstool Sports podcast that the NFL is "scripted."

The one-time All-Pro-turned-conspirator saw his joke-filled theory gain quick popularity, and Hilton chimed in.

Following through with the idea that the league is scripted, Hilton pleaded with Luck to not follow the "script" that said the former No. 1 overall pick would retire early and unexpectedly in 2019.

"12 PLEASE DONT FOLLOW THE SCRIPT. PLEASE DON'T," Hilton tweeted Thursday. 

Luck, a four-time Pro Bowler and 2018 Comeback Player of the Year, shocked the NFL world when he announced his retirement from football in Aug. 2019 after just six seasons in the league.

A rising star among quarterbacks, Luck was seen as the future face of the league. But his NFL "script" had other plans. 

Luckily, Hilton was there to joke and make light of it all.

The veteran receiver is coming off a successful late-season burst with the Cowboys, as he totaled 10 catches for 159 yards in five games (including postseason) after signing with Dallas on Dec. 12.
