Football slows down (though around here, not much) until the NFL Draft which starts Thursday, April 29, So, inside, we discuss a few mock drafts that have caught our eye and see which direction the so-called “experts” think the Cowboys will go with the No. 10 pick.

We also ponder the greatness - or, relative greatness - of Tony Romo and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Will he get in as a player? Let's assume, for the moment, that he does not.

What if his career as a broadcaster is so stellar that it, eventually, makes him a candidate? We suggest that CBS (again, we're looking a ways down the road) would love that publicity and maybe “assist” Romo getting in ... and seriously: Maybe the combination of Romo being "almost good enough'' as a player and then being stellar in the booth gets it done.

We also talk about we consider to be the totally off-the-wall suggestion that Dak Prescott could be traded for Russell Wilson. What are the financial ramifications of such a deal? We’ll tell you, and we’ll also tell you what we think about such a scenario. We also pile on Fish's facts on the story and nevertheless irresponsibly guess why Jerry Jones was buying wine at 7-11.
