Breaking Down the Final Dolphins-Jets Week 18 Injury Report

In this story:
The Miami Dolphins might have Xavien Howard and Bradley Chubb for their Week 18 must-win game against the New York Jets, but it's not necessarily looking good when it comes to tackle Terron Armstead.
Armstead (toe/pec/knee/hip) was one of three players listed as doubtful on the final injury report of the week. He did not practice at all for a second consecutive week and was inactive against the New England Patriots last Sunday — after being listed as questionable.
Kendall Lamm started at left tackle against the Patriots, but he also was listed as doubtful for the Jets game because of the ankle injury that knocked him out of the game last weekend. If neither Armstead nor Lamm can play, then the expectation is that Greg Little would start at left tackle against the Jets.
Also listed as doubtful for the Jets game was wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr., who didn't practice all week because of a hip injury. His absence would be most felt in his role as punt returner, though the Dolphins have other options, such as Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Jevon Holland and River Cracraft.
The only player the Dolphins ruled out for the game was, not surprisingly, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who continues his recovery from the concussion he sustained in the Christmas Day loss against the Green Bay Packers.
The Dolphins have five players who were listed as questionable, including QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee/right finger).
Head coach Mike McDaniel declared Friday that rookie Skylar Thompson would start against the Jets and the hope is that Bridgewater could dress as the backup. He was limited in practice all week.
Also listed as questionable were LB Bradley Chubb (ankle/hand) and CB Xavien Howard (knee), who each missed the New England game. They both were limited the past two days after not practicing Wednesday.
The other two players listed as questionable are FB Alec Ingold (thumb) and S Eric Rowe (quad), who both were limited all week.
The other four players on the active roster who were on the injury report this week (excluding vet rest) didn't get a game status designation and will be available: S Jevon Holland, CB Kader Kohou, LB Jaelan Phillips and Waddle.

JETS INJURY REPORT
The Jets ruled out five players on their final injury report, including three offensive linemen: T Duane Brown (shoulder), T George Fant (calf) and G Nate Herbig (calf).
In addition, guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (knee) was listed as questionable.
Also ruled out were CB Brandon Echols (quad) and S Lamacus Joyner (hip).
The Jets added two players to their injury report Friday: safety Ashtyn Davis (ankle) was listed as questionable after being limited Friday, tight end C.J. Uzomah (ankle) did not practice Friday and was listed as questionable.
QB Mike White was listed as questionable with a rib injury, though head coach Robert Saleh said Friday that veteran Joe Flacco would start against the Dolphins.
Lastly, safety Jordan Whitehead was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
