PHILADELPHIA – The NFL schedule isn’t going to be released until Thursday night in primetime, but there will be leaks.

A big one sprung a few days ago when Donna Kelce the mother of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs tight Travis Kelce, revealed that the Eagles will play at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 2.

Kelce made the reveal on her Facebook page. It wasn’t discovered until a Twitter account called NFL Schedule Update posted it on Tuesday and it was retweeted by Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer.

There had been some speculation that the NFL would put the Eagles in Kansas City in the season-opening Thursday night game, giving fans a rematch of an entertaining Super Bowl LVII rematch the Chiefs won, 38-35.

According to Kelce, though, that game will be in Week 2.

Whether or not it comes to fruition is another thing. There will be plenty of schedule leaks between now and Thursday night.

Donna Kelce has certainly seen her share of the limelight recently. She recently announced the Eagles’ 30th overall pick in the NFL draft, when Philly selected Georgia outside linebacker/edge rusher Nolan Smith.

At the Super Bowl, the mother of the Kelce brothers was a ubiquitous presence with both her sons’ teams squaring off against each other. She wore a custom-made jersey that was half Eagles and half Chiefs, and she watched a portion of the game with Roger Goodell from the NFL commissioner’s box inside State Farm Stadium.

It’s already been revealed that the Eagles will have the league’s hardest schedule, with their opponents’ win percentage at .566. The next closest team in terms of schedule difficulty is the Miami Dolphins, whose opponents have a win percentage of .554.

Philly will also play nine road games compared to eight at home, with 11 of its 17 opponents coming against teams who made the playoffs last season.
