You can hear the groans from New York. The Giants killer is back with the Eagles.

Boston Scott agreed on Tuesday to return to Philadelphia for a sixth season, this time on his second one-year contract. The deal is reportedly worth $2 million.

Known as the Giant Killer, Scott has 10 of his 17 career touchdowns against the Eagles’ NFC East rival.

He has 86 carries for 414 yards (4.81 yards per carry) and nine rushing scores to go along with 17 receptions for 222 yards against the Giants. Oh, and he is 6-2 against them.

Scott is a versatile running back who never complains about whatever role he is used in.

“I know I’m not the most talented guy, but I feel like I am skilled,” said Scott after the regular season ended. “So, working toward getting reps, repetitions that allow me to elevate my game. Those reps for me are invaluable, it leads to more opportunity.”

The 5-6 running back also said that day he has no explanation for his success against New York.

“I feel God has a sense of humor and why the heck is one of the smallest players having those types of games against a team called the Giants,” he said. “It’s amazing what a little faith will do. We all have Giants in our lives and it’s different for each person.”

Originally a sixth-round pick of the Saints in 2018, the Eagles grabbed him quickly after he was released and added him to the active roster on Dec. 11, 2018.

About two hours earlier, the Eagles agreed to terms with Seattle Seahawks RB Rashaad Penny.

The back-to-back contracts at the same position likely signal the end of Miles Sanders’ time in Philadelphia.

Teams cannot announce deals until the new league year begins on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

A former first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Penny has a long history of injuries. He has played just 18 games the last three seasons.

Last year, he played in just five after suffering a tibia fracture that ended his season. He was off to a great start before the injury against the New Orleans Saints, with 346 yards, a 6.1 yards per carry average, and two touchdowns.
