Eagles Mock Draft Roundup: Where is Philly Trending at No. 30?

In this story:
First and foremost, all eyes in Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft Thursday evening will be on what the Philadelphia Eagles do at No. 10 overall. However, they own the No. 30 pick as well, and here's a look at what experts currently believe Howie Roseman and company will do with the second of two first-round picks.
Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Media: Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama
Whether the Eagles believe Bijan Robinson is worth the No. 10 overall pick or not has been the predominant story line around the team during this draft process. Jeremiah -- once a scout for the Eagles -- believes that they'll go with an EDGE with the 10th pick, before taking the second-highest rated running back (for most, at least) at No. 30.
Rob Judin of The Draft Network: John Michael Schmitz, C, Minnesota
Jason Kelce is back for his 13th NFL season, and the Eagles invested a second-round pick into his potential successor, Cam Jurgens, a year ago. However, Judin argues that if Jurgens emerges as the starting right guard in 2023, it could be good to have another option at center. Schmitz was a First-Team All-American in 2022. The only thing is that he's already 24 years old, and it's fair to wonder if that would turn the Eagles off to the idea of a redshirt year in the NFL.
Lance Zierlein of NFL Media: Matthew Bergeron, OT, Syracuse
The thinking in this selection, per Zierlein, is that Bergeron could work with Jeff Stoutland and transition into playing guard. Whenever the aforementioned Kelce retires, Jurgens would move from right guard to his natural position of center, and Bergeron would take over at right guard.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk: Calijah Kancey, DT, Pitt
Florio outsources his only mock draft of the season to "someone I trust who isn't currently working for a team." That someone believes that Kancey, a popular name to link to the Eagles in this process, will be on the board at 30. He had 14.5 tackles for a loss and 7.5 sacks in his final season at Pitt.
Bucky Brooks of NFL Media: Keion White, EDGE, Georgia Tech
Brooks has the Eagles coming away with two defensive linemen in the first round. After taking Clemson's Myles Murphy at No. 10, Brooks tabs White -- "who he a combo defender with inside-outside playmaking ability at the line of scrimmage" -- with the penultimate pick in the first round.
