Thirteen Eagles Make PFF's Top 101 List

In this story:
The trouble with lists is you can always find something wrong with them.
In the case of Pro Football Focus’s recently revealed top 101 players from the 2022 season, receiver DeVonta Smith is nowhere to be found, despite a season in which he had 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 regular-season games.
He added another 13 receptions for 17 yards and a TD in three playoff games, including a 7-catch, 100-yard outing in Super Bowl LVII.
PFF is widely regarded as one of the better tools that evaluate players’ performances in-season and all season long.
Despite not having Smith among the top 101, the Eagles put 13 players on the list, led by right tackle Lane Johnson who came in at No. 9. PFF indicated that Johnson did not allow a single QB hit in 614 pass-blocking snaps this season.
Center Jason Kelce checked in at No. 17, followed by WR A.J. Brown at No. 20, and QB Jalen Hurts at No. 24.
Hurts was the fourth quarterback on the list. KC’s Patrick Mahomes was first followed by Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow (3) and Buffalo’s Josh Allen (14).
Brown was the fourth WR on the list, with Miami’s Tyreek Hill at No. 7, Justin Jefferson at No. 8, and Las Vegas’ Davante Adams at No. 19.
The Chiefs had three of the top four players, with Mahomes leading the way followed by DT Chris Jones at No. 2 and tight end Travis Kelce at No. 4.
Other receivers on the list – which, again, did not contain Smith – were Stefon Diggs (25), Amon-Ra St. Brown (28), Ja’Marr Chase (39), CeeDee Lamb (50), Jaylen Waddle (66), Amari Cooper (81), and Terry McLaurin (87).
Smith had more yards and touchdowns than both St. Brown and McClaurin and more yards than Cooper.
Other Eagles on the list:
DE Brandon Graham 36
Edge rusher Haason Reddick 38
LT Jordan Mailata 47
DT Javon Hargrave 72
LB T.J. Edwards 79
TE Dallas Goedert 80
DE Josh Sweat 82
CB Darius Slay 84
CB James Bradberry 89
