Tom Brady Take, Lamar Jackson Trade: Falcons' Grady Jarrett 'Couldn't Agree More'

From cryptic messages to agreeing with Tom Brady, Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett had a busy and subliminal message-filled night on Twitter.

Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett is no stranger to being associated with controversy surrounding now-retired quarterback Tom Brady.

Following a crucial sack in a Week 5 matchup that ultimately proved to be the difference between the Falcons and Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jarrett was flagged for roughing the passer on what seemed to be a routine takedown.

Public outcry ensued and Jarrett expressed his frustration throughout the week after ... but now, he's in agreement with Brady.

During his podcast, Brady stated his belief that "the sport isn't being played at a high level like I believe it once was" - and Jarrett, via Twitter, said that he "couldn't agree more."

Brady's feelings towards football's level of play certainly could've been a factor in his retirement, while Jarrett's roughing the passer penalty may have influenced his personal opinion on this subject.

But that wasn't all for Jarrett on an eventful Tuesday night of Twitter usage.

The Falcons are now nearly a month removed from their last game; the off-season is in full force, which means the rumor mill is turning - and Jarrett appears to have heard something that caught his eye, sending a cryptic message of emojis to his 40,000-plus followers.

Naturally, all eyes shift towards the quarterback position, where the Falcons are expected to be in the race for Baltimore Ravens signal caller Lamar Jackson should the two sides be unable to reach a long-term contract.

Jarrett, ahead of Atlanta's Week 16 game against Baltimore, made his feelings on Jackson abundantly clear ...

"He's one of the best to do it," Jarrett said. "He's a great player, dynamic player. He's been an MVP for a reason. He’s going to be one of the most sought-after guys for a reason. He can throw the ball, one of the most elite athletes in the entire league. Just a great player, seems like a pretty good dude."

And that, by all accounts, is reason for surprise and deep thought - similar to Jarrett and Brady seeing eye-to-eye on the direction of the NFL.
