ATLANTA – The Atlanta Falcons are putting a bow on the second week of preseason action on Saturday with their matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The exhibition will wrap up an important week of joint practices between the two squads, where the teams got a lot of great work in a controlled setting. 

Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed this week that presumed starters will not be seeing action in this game, meaning Tua Tagovailoa and company will need to wait a little bit longer before they can seek retribution for a poor week one performance. 

“Going to really be decided afterward, but by and large, our starters will not play in this game. This will be the twos and threes, if you will,” he said Thursday. “It's how [Colts Head Coach] Shane [Steichen] structured the reps in these practices to make sure that the ones are getting the majority of the reps. This is really their game, if you will, and then the twos and threes will play in the game.”
