According to head coach Brian Daboll, New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) has been cleared to return to practice this week; however, he has not yet been cleared for contact.

Jones, injured on a sack two weeks ago against Miami, did not practice at all last week as he was dealing with symptoms related to his neck injury. He was inactive last week against the Bills and is still iffy for this weekend against the Commanders, but his ability to practice is a step in the right direction.

Daboll said that Jones, whose injury is not believed to be season-ending, will not do any team drills today; he will instead go through individual drills.

In other injury news, right tackle Evan Neal (ankle), offensive tackle Matt PEart (ankle), center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder), and receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (knee/rest day) won't practice either. Daboll was asked if Schmitz's injury is potentially season-ending, but he wouldn't commit to that being the case just yet.

Among those players expected to be limited include running back Saquon Barkley (ankle), cornerback Cor'Dale Flott (ankle), and guard Shane Lemieux (groin).

Defensive lineman D.J. Davidson (knee) was also to appear on the injury report as a full participant.

In other injury-related news, Daboll didn't know if the toe injury suffered by Joshua Ezeudu was season-ending. Ezeeudu was placed on injured reserve this week.
