This could be a battle to watch all game as the Packers try to get to Jameis Winston.

The New York Giants have a really difficult task in front of them when they welcome the Green Bay Packers to MetLife Stadium. They will be without several key players on both sides of the ball which leaves questions about their ability to be effective in this game.

Jaxson Dart is out this week, and if this team wants to have any success, they will need to give Jameis Winston time to deliver the football to a hodgepodge of receiving options on the field.

The right side of the offensive line has not played lights out this season. In fact, the right side struggled in the Giants' last outing, giving up some critical pressures and sacks. That's why it will be interesting to watch the matchup between Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons and New York right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor.

The Passing Game

There is no way the Packers are going to line their best pass rusher up against Andrew Thomas, who rarely gives up sacks. So we can be assured that Micah Parsons will be lined up on Eluemunor's side.

Last season Eleumunor was consistent in pass protection. This season, he has been good, but there are moments when he does not get it done and lets a speed rusher fly by him.

Parsons is the wrong guy to fall asleep on or even make the wrong choice as a pass protection assignment. His first step is so explosive that he will fly past a blocker before he gets out of his stance. It should be on high alert for the Giants and Eluemunor.

1-on-1: The advantage is with Parsons although I believe that Eluemunor will be locked in and perform well.

It is the burst and the pursuit that give Parsons the edge. In the pass rush, the burden of a good game comes down to one sack, and that is completely unfair, but it is the way it goes.

The only way Eluemunor can have a good game is with a glean sheet. Parsons could get stonewalled all game, and if he gets to the quarterback once, he wins the matchup.

The Rushing Attack

The run game is where Eluemunor has the chance to take advantage of his matchup against Parsons. While the Packers' new pass-rushing wizard is on pace for another double-digit sack season, he is also on pace for the worst tackling output of his entire career.

Since his rookie season, when he had 64 tackles, his totals have dropped each year, and he currently has only 11 tackles. For as much as people do not want to admit it, Parsons is a finesse guy; he is a luxury rusher, and the more the world accepts that, the better.

The last thing he wants to do on Sundays is take on a downhill rushing attack with Eluemunor firing off at him play after play, but that is exactly what they should do. Run right at him and make him stand up against the run.

1-on-1: This advantage is with the offense and Eluemunor. He will likely not be able to overpower Parsons, but the way Parsons plays against the run leaves him open to offensive manipulation.

He is usually looking to pass rush first, so Eluemunor can entice him up the field and wall him off on inside run plays. He can also attack Parsons because he is not going under the block. It will be more about positioning for Eluemunor against Parsons, and he should find that to be a lot easier.
