After being waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday, rookie undrafted free agent linebacker Joe Giles-Harris has found himself back in Jacksonville via the practice squad, the team announced Wednesday.

To make room for Giles-Harris, who originally made the teams initial 53-man roster as the backup strongside linebacker, the Jaguars released LB Deshaun Davis from the practice squad.

Giles-Harris was featured predominantly throughout the preseason with the reserve defense, and he fits the team's preferred mold for strongside linebackers with his size, strength and physicality. He was only waived Tuesday because the team claimed linebacker Austin Calitro off of the waiver wire from the Seattle Seahawks, and the team needed room on the 53-man roster.
