Jaguars Podcast: Breaking Down Calais Campbell Pursuit, Draft and More

The NFL Draft is just two weeks away.
In just 17 short days, the landscape of the NFL will once again change as each franchise selects players who will make or break their franchises. And for the Jacksonville Jaguars, this year's draft is as important as any draft in recent memory.
With the Jaguars sitting at No. 24 overall and with nine picks throughout the draft's seven rounds, this year's draft is set to decide just how deep the Jaguars' roster will be as they push for another AFC South title and hope to compete for the AFC crown.
It will take more than just the draft, though. The Jaguars have seemed to learn this, signing five free agents over the last month: running back D'Ernest Johnson, defensive linemen Henry Mondeaux and Michael Dogbe, offensive tackle Josh Wells, and offensive guard Chandler Brewer.
We have also seen the Jaguars take a public pursuit of former Jacksonville defensive end Calais Campbell, who signed a one-year, $7 million deal with the Atlanta Falcons that can be worth up to $9 million. What did the Campbell pursuit mean and how much of a true loss is it for the Jaguars to not land the former Pro Bowler?
From free-agency to the draft, this week's episode of The JaguarReport Podcast covers it all.
So tune in and listen as John and Gus address the Jaguars' offseason and more. To listen to the JaguarReport Podcast, you can find us on Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcast, and YouTube.
