Jaguars Podcast: Previewing the 49ers

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a measuring stick game in Week 10, even if the Jaguars aren't saying so themselves.
The Jaguars have beaten good teams before, but Sunday's home contest vs. the San Francisco 49ers gives the Jaguars a chance to show that their 6-2 start was legit.
“I don’t think it’s a measuring stick, you’re playing a great football team and we have played some really good football teams already," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said this week.
"Our guys have battled and hung in there and it’s just going to be another one of those tough, physical, and hard games. It is one-of-17 games against a top NFC opponent and a playoff caliber team, a team that was in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. Is that a measuring stick, could be and we haven’t done anything yet and we aren’t there yet. Our guys have to prepare that way and be ready for a 60-minute game”.
But can the Jaguars take their big step this week? Can Trevor Lawrence and the offense have their breakout game? Can the defense step up vs. the 49ers' stacked skill player roster?
John and Gus discuss all of this and more in this week's episode of the Jaguar Report podcast.
