Jaguars Podcast: Previewing the Browns and Predicting If Trevor Lawrence Plays

John and Gus go over what they see from the Browns and whether they think Trevor Lawrence will play this week.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a lot of questions this week.

Going into a Week 14 road game vs. the Cleveland Browns, the 8-4 Jaguars have just a one-game lead in the AFC South, are fresh off a gut-wrenching 34-31 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football and, oh by the way, starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence is questionable to play with an ankle injury.

“We’ve gone through this with him, we did it last year with the toe and this year with the knee. He’s played, if history suggests, he’s played the next week," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said on Friday. 

"Obviously, a year ago in Detroit, he played the second half on that injury. It just to me shows his toughness, physical toughness, mental toughness. I believe when your quarterback exudes that, I think it does send a message to the rest of your team in a good way. I’m still optimistic for this weekend, but again, the fact that he’s willing and able to put himself out there for his teammates and his team speaks volumes.”
