First Quarter

15:00

14:55

Jaguars get 11 yards thanks to a solid James Robinson carry on first down, but the Jaguars have to punt due to a few incompletions from Gardner Minshew

13:00

The Jaguars force a punt after they bring a blitz on third down and Joe Schobert makes the tackle on third-and-long. Good first drive from the defense despite a 40+ yard catch on first down by Will Fuller.

8:00

Jacksonville has to punt after a few plays, including some good runs by James Robinson. Jaguars are once again 0-for-2 on third down after going 5-for-20 the previous two weeks.

3:13

Texans facing another third-down, lets see what the Jaguars do here.

3:01

Dakota Allen makes the tackle a yard late on third-and-1. Big missed opportunity.

1:54

Taven Bryan makes a major tackle for loss on first down, his best play of the season by far. Was a dominant stop.

1:13

Deshaun Watson runs all over the Jaguars and throws a big-time completion. Jaguars struggle once again to bring him down.

0:12

Watson scrambles for 11 yards after Cassius Marsh isn't able to complete the sack. Flashbacks to Wembley from last year.

Second Quarter

Brandon Linder will return to the game.

14:20

Sidney Jones and Dakota Allen each make good plays against the pass to force a field goal attempt, which is big for this team.

14:07

Texans kick the 36-yard field goal and take the first lead of the game.

Texans 3, Jaguars 0.

14:00

Laviska Shenault gets 10 yards on a screen to start the drive some much-needed positive momentum.

10:30

Jaguars get another third-down but complete it thanks to a Tyler Eifert catch-and-run after third-down. Minshew getting into a rhythm on this drive.

8:39

False start by James O'Shaughnessy and two check downs to James Robinson bring third-and-8.

8:15

5:50

Texans 10, Jaguars 7.

3:20

Shenault gets 22 yards on a second-down play-action. Good connection for the Jaguars there.

0:54

A huge pickup by Collin Johnson on third-down gets the Jaguars near the goal line. They need this touchdown bad, but great play by the rookie receiver.

0:34

Jaguars throw it to Shenault out of the backfield, but the Texans are all over it and the rookie loses three. Jacksonville will now kick.

0:24

Hauschka misses the 24-yard field goal, which means they will trail going into halftime despite a fantastic drive to end the first half. Tough break for the offense

0:23

Wow. Dawuane Smoot deflects the pass at the line and Sidney Jones intercepts it, giving the Jaguars a chance to get points before half.

0:04

Jaguars miss ANOTHER field goal, this time a 49-yard attempt. Jawaan Taylor's flag on the last play didn't help, but my goodness what a disaster.

Third quarter

Chris Claybrooks gives up a new-first down on a slant to Will Fuller. Meanwhile, Andrew Wingard has been ruled out at safety.

13:10

11:25

Yikes, James Robinson loses four on the first drive and then Minshew is sacked on second-down.

10:10

Jaguars have to punt after a third-and-long screen. What a mess of a drive by the offense there.

9:01

Will Fuller gets 19 on first-down. The Jaguars need a defensive stop badly this drive.

8:33

K'Lavon Chaisson tips the first-down pass, nice play by the Houston native.

7:11

Sidney Jones tips a deep pass intended for Will Fuller. Heads up play by Jarrod Wilson, in his first game back since the opener, to nab the interception. He gets blockers and returns it 47 yards.

5:31

Robinson with three straight carries. Has the Jaguars at the 11-yard line.

4:06

3:21

Robinson takes the snap in the wildcat formation and goes out right. He fumbles the ball, and J.J. Watt recovers. Houston will take back over deep in their own territory.

2:39

1st and 15 from 17…empty set…Davon Hamilton had Deshaun Watson and Watson turned other way…raced for sticks. 14 yard gain

*Tyler Eiert has a neck injury and his return is questionable

1:32

Watson has all the time in the world to throw. Goes deep to Brandon Cooks for a 22-yard pick up.

0:12

Watson finds Cooks over the middle for a 9-yard gain. It's a first down.

Fourth quarter

Chris Conley gets 51 yards after making a fantastic adjustment on a underthrown deep ball by Minshew. Huge play and the Jaguars are now threatening.

10:23

Minshew finds Johnson for four yards in the back of the end zone after scrambling. Great play.

9:29

The Jaguars can't cover Cooks. Beats Chris Claybrooks for a 36-yard gain. now has 133 yards on the day.

7:36

The Texans are about to kick after Claybrooks gets a pass breakup on third-down. Big play by the rookie after a rough day.

7:29

Fairbairn makes the 46-yard field goal and the Jaguars now trail 23-14. Looking a lot like last week.

7:09

Keelan Cole gets a first down at the sideline, but Romeo Crennel challenges it. It is close as to whether Cole was actually in bounds.

The playcall stands, so the Jaguars get the first.

6:50

DJ Chark just hobbled off of the field. Bad news for Jaguars.

6:30

Minshew is nearly sacked but barely gets the ball away. Now third-and-10 for the Jaguars.

Jaguars have it near the 30-yard line but time is a major factor. Have to score within the next few plays.

Three straight incompletions to Cole, who was open a few times, to end the drive on downs for the Jaguars.
