DJ Chark, Other Jaguars React to Madden NFL 21 Ratings

The entire football community has been closely tracking the release of ratings for Madden NFL 21, and the Jacksonville Jaguars have been no different.
On Monday, the Jaguars' social media account posted the speed ratings for the team's fastest players in this year's edition of the famed video game franchise, with Parry Nickerson, DJ Chark, Dede Westbrook and others leading the way. Chark, Westbrook and rookie Chris Claybrooks then reacted and weighed in on the ratings themselves.
CB Parry Nickerson: 95 speed.
WR DJ Chark: 94 speed.
CB/KR Chris Claybrooks: 94 speed.
WR Dede Westbrook: 93 speed.
CB CJ Henderson: 93 speed.

At the 2018 NFL Combine, Nickerson ran a 4.32-second 40-yard dash, which tied two other cornerbacks, LSU's Donte Jackson and Ohio State's Denzel Ward for the fastest time among all participants. Nickerson started just one game for the Jaguars last season, but the team is seemingly high on his physical potential and his speed is obvious, justifying his high rating.
As for Chark, he was also one of the fastest members of the 2018 draft class. The former LSU wide receiver recorded a 4.34 40-yard dash, the best time among wide receivers and tied for fourth for the best time overall. Chark has displayed his speed over and over again since being drafted, making him one of the league's best deep threats following a Pro Bowl season in 2019.
According to PFF, Chark is one of just four wide receivers since 2018 to not drop a catchable pass of 20 yards or more with 16 receptions. He joins other top-flight wideouts such as Atlanta Falcons' Julio Jones (26 catches), Chicago Bears' Allen Robinson (23 catches) and Miami Dolphins. Devante Parker (17). Considering this trio has a combined eight Pro Bowls, features two top-12 receivers and one of last year's breakout offensive players, this is good company to be included with.
Dede Westbrook didn't run at the combine in 2017 when he was working out for NFL teams following a successful career at Oklahoma, but he did record a reported 4.34 40-yard dash at the Sooners' Pro Day.
As for Henderson, he was one of this year's standout performers at the combine thanks to his blazing 40 time. The former high school running back recorded a 4.39 40-yard dash, one of the fastest times of any defensive back.
Finally, Claybrooks is a speed demon in his own right after starring as a kick returner for the Memphis Tigers. A former wide receiver and return specialist at the junior college level, Claybrooks converted to cornerback in his first year at Memphis in 2018. In 2019, Claybrooks took over return duties for Memphis, returning 11 kicks for 338 yards (30.7 average) and one touchdown.
When asked about his 40-yard dash time after the Jaguars selected him in the seventh round with the No. 223 overall pick, Claybrooks' answer was automatic.
“It is a 4.25. I ran that on April 11 and I sent it in to all the teams." Claybrooks said.
