What did we make of Trent Baalke's end-of-season presser?

The Jacksonville Jaguars are entering a key point in their offseason.

Now weeks removed from the nightmare ending that was the 2023 season, the Jaguars and general manager Trent Baalke and head coach Doug Pederson need to take stock.

What went wrong? What can they do to fix it? That is the primary question following Baalke's end-of-season press conference. 

"As you’re trying to work your way, I’ve said this before, the easiest thing to do in the National Football League is to take an average football team, a struggling football team and make it competitive," Baalke said. 

"The hardest thing to do is take a competitive football team and make it a championship football team. That’s just the reality of the world we live in. We’re in that phase. We’ve got to take a competitive football team and turn it into a champion. That’s not easy, but that’s our job. It takes good football players, it takes good coaching, it takes good management, it takes great ownership. Everything factors into that, making that switch. We have everything we need here. Now, it’s just time to go do it.”
