Jaguars Stock Report: Who Is Rising and Falling Entering Week 2?

The Jacksonville Jaguars left Week 1 with a win, despite taking the best shot the Indianapolis Colts could throw.
The 31-21 road win was the Jaguars' first at Lucas Oil Stadium since 2017, largely off the performance of a number of critical players.
So after Week 1 and entering Week 2, let's take stock and see which Jaguars are on the rise and which need bounce-back weeks.
Stock Up
Tyson Campbell: One interception, one forced fumble, one pass breakup, and six effective solo tackles. That is a heck of a season debut for Tyson Campbell, who effectively shut down the Colts' outside receivers for four quarters before baiting Anthony Richardson for an interception.
Andre Cisco: Other than Josh Allen, I'm not sure any defender had a better game than Andre Cisco. He recorded 10 tackles (third-most) and was a legitimate hammer in space for the Jaguars, making several key one-on-one tackles to prevent big gains. The range and play-speed he brought to the field was on full-display, with Cisco frequently making an impact near the line of scrimmage despite mostly being lined up as the deep safety. Add in his forced fumble and it was a hell of a game for the third-year safety.
Calvin Ridley: 11 targets for Calvin Ridley is exactly what you wanted to see in Week 1. It was clear for all watching that Ridley is the Jaguars' No. 1 wide receiver, with Trevor Lawrence even passing up open check-down options on several occasions to fit a ball to a covered Ridley.
Tre Herndon: Maybe the most criticized player on the starting defense, Tre Herndon stepped up in a big way vs. the Colts. He was an effective blitzer with two pressures, made several impressive tackles in space and shut down a few screen passes that went his way. Considering the Jaguars needed a big game from their nickel corner against the Colts' offense, it was a good step forward for Herndon.
Walker Little: Walker Little had one of his best starts with the Jaguars in Week 1, allowing just one pressure in nearly 40 pass-pro snaps. Little's one poor block in the passing game was a hold that led to a negated big play, but it was at least a strong performance against a good defensive line.
Travon Walker and Josh Allen: Eight pressures, four sacks, four tackles for loss. Yeah, that'll do. The Jaguars' are maybe putting too much on the edge duo's plate in terms of snaps and usage, but it is hard to take either off the field when they play like they did vs. the Colts. Travon Walker maybe hasn't taken the step, but he did take a step, which is key.
Stock Down
Interior OL: Sunday was a game the Jaguars' interior offensive line is going to want to quickly move on from. Ben Bartch allowed a team-high three pressures and a strip-sack to DeForest Buckner, while Bartch and Luke Fortner were the two blockers who had quick losses on the interception play where Trevor Lawrence had to quickly dump it off the Tank Bigsby. Add in their struggles in the run game and injuries to Fortner and Brandon Scherff and things aren't great up the middle.
K'Lavon Chaisson: There are a lot of instances where K'Lavon Chaisson gets dinged too much, but it is concerning that he didn't log a pressure on Sunday despite playing 14 pass-rush snaps. The Jaguars can't ask Travon Walker and Josh Allen to play close to or over 80% of the snaps on a consistent basis, so they will need more production from their No. 3 pass-rusher. There were a few instances where he was spying Anthony Richardson and wasn't able to pin his ears back, but it was still troublesome to see the lack of pressure.
Day 3 Rookies: This isn't a knock on the 2023 draft class, but the reality is that the only real contributions the Jaguars are going to get out of the rookie group will come from their first three picks. The only one of the Jaguars' 10 Day 3 picks to log a snap on Sunday was Yasir Abudllah, who played six snaps. Antonio Johnson and Tyler Lacy were dealing with injuries, while Christian Braswell, Parker Washington and undrafted free agent Elijah Cooks were healthy scratches.
