Jaguars vs. Chiefs: Week 1 live thread

The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to kickoff their 2019 against the Kansas City Chiefs today at TIAA Bank Field for the seasons home opener.
Stay updated with the JaguarMaven live thread of the game as we post updates throughout the course of the afternoon.
3:35 p.m.: Gardner Minshew throws his first career touchdown! A 15-yard pass to Dede Westbrook. Sadly, the defense is still horrific and it is 37-19 after the failed two-point conversion.
3:26 p.m.: Sammy Watkins just scored his third touchdown, this time a three-yard touchdown over Jalen Ramsey. 37-13 KC with 10:56 left.
3:13 p.m.: Start of fourth quarter, and I am confident in saying this one is over. Jaguars facing major questions on defense.
3:02 p.m.: Damien Williams punches it in from the one-yard line to make it 30-13 KC. Penalty after penalty on the defense throughout the drive.
2:51 p.m.: Leonard Fournette just lost the first fumble of his NFL career after the Jaguars got into scoring position. Awful timing. Still 23-13 KC.
2:26 p.m.: Kansas City gets a 46-yard field goal to make it 23-13 with 24 seconds left in the half. Linebacker Quincy Williams left the game with a knee injury during the drive.
2:10 p.m.: Josh Lambo nails a 23-yard field goal to make it 20-13 after D.J. Chark catches a 69-yard pass from Gardner Minshew, who is 7/7 for 117 yards.
2:04 p.m.: Chiefs kick the chip shot field goal and go up 20-10 after Myles Jack's ejection. 20-10 Chiefs.
2:01 p.m.: Myles Jack with the dumbest actions of the season so far. Ejected for throwing punches and then had to be restrained walking off of the field.
1:50 p.m.: Josh Lambo nails a 47-yard field goal to make it 17-10 KC. Rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew looked solid that drive.
1:44 p.m.: Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is questionable to return with a shoulder injury.
1:37 p.m.: Sammy Watkins with a 49-yard touchdown catch at the same time that Nick Foles is ruled out for the game. A diaster for Jacksonville. 17-7 KC.
1:29 p.m.: D.J. Chark catches his first career touchdown, a 35-yard touchdown pass beauty from Nick Foles. But Foles just left to go to the locker room....
1:19 p.m.: Kansas City marches down the field with ease, but end up kicking a field goal after Patrick Mahomes threw his first incompletion of the day on third-down. 10-0 KC.
1:12 p.m.: Jaguars go three-and-out on first drive. Foles went 1/2 but badly overthrew a pass out of bounds on third down.
1:07 p.m.: Sammy Watkins with a 68-yard touchdown catch after Jaguars safety Ronnie Harrison whiffed badly. 7-0 Chiefs.
1:02 P.M.: Jaguars wins the toss, will defer to get the ball in second half. Chiefs get ball first.
11:42 a.m.: Here are the Chiefs inactives -- Safety Jordan Lucas, linebacker Reggie Ragland, tight end Deon Yelder, defensive lineman Khalen Saunders and offensive linemen Ryan Hunter, Martinas Rankin and Nick Allegretti.
11:35 a.m.: Jaguars announced defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is out with an elbow injury. To replace him, defensive end Calais Campbell will start at defensive tackle and rookie defensive end Josh Allen will start on the edge.
11:26 a.m.: Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette and cornerback Jalen Ramsey are the first non-specialists to take the field and warm-up for Jaguars. They look dialed in.
11:12 a.m.: Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wideouts have taken the field for air routes. Not many Jaguars on the field, yet.
