4:00 p.m.: Minshew with four-yard touchdown pass to DJ Chark but Fournette was short by half a yard on the two point conversion. 13-12, and that is game.

3:50 p.m.: Chris Conley with a giant catch on third and 9 to convert and keep the drive moving.

3:40 p.m.: Houston converted a third down and got past midfield but it was nullified by a Tytus Howard trip. Jaguars getting ball back with 3:36 left.

3:33 p.m.: Josh Lambo kicks a 32-yard field goal to make it 13-6 Houston with six minutes left in the game. The offense had a great drive there but penalties on the OL killed them. Minshew 6/7 for 86 yards on the drive.

3:14 p.m.: Minshew completes a huge 31-yard pass to Chris Conley to give the offense some life. Then hits Dede Westbrook for a big gain but he is called for OPI; Marrone challenging it.

3:16 p.m.: Deshaun Watson scrambles into the endzone on 4th and 1 to make it 13-3 Texans.

3:13 p.m.: Disaster back-to-back plays for Jacksonville as a holding on Jawaan Taylor brings back a 30-yard gain, and then Will Richardson is beat by Whitney Mercilus who forces a strip sack. Texans about to score.

3:08 p.m.: Jaguars defense once again holds tough and forces a Houston punt. If they lose, it will not be because of any issues on the defensive side.

3:02 p.m.: Still no touchdowns through three quarters. It is 6-3 Texans as game enters the fourth quarter, but Houston is driving thanks to an easy going run game.

2:56 p.m.: Jaguars punt again after back-to-back penalties on the offense line negate what was shaping up to be a positive drive. Offense has yet to get out of its own way.

2:48 p.m.: Jalen Ramsey drops would be pick-six after a huge hit on Watson by Taven Bryan, but Jacksonville still forces a Texans punt. 6-3 Houston.

2:42 p.m.: Jaguars punt after gaining an early first down. There is still zero running room and the offensive line is struggling in pass protection as well, limiting the offense severely.

2:34 p.m.: Deshaun Watson nearly fumbles ball on handoff to Carlos Hyde, giving Josh Allen his first career sack. Fumbles again on second down to lead to an eventual punt on first drive of second half.

2:18 p.m.: Houston is able to get to Jacksonville's goal line right before the half ends and makes it 6-3. Watson simply has too much time to throw when the Jaguars aren't blitzing.

2:06 p.m.: Josh Lambo nails a 40-yard field goal to tie it up at 3-3 with three minutes left in the first half. Jaguars overcame a few big third downs there but sacks and penalties kept them out of the end zone. Leonard Fournette got rolling a bit more on that drive.

1:57 p.m.: Jaguars force another three-and-out and their defense is now playing with their hair on fire. Myles Jack got a QB hit on second down and then DJ Hayden gets the sack off of a blitz on third down.

1:52 p.m.: Minshew and the run game are just unable to get anything going today. Fourth punt today after going three-and-out.

1:46 p.m.: Jaguars defense forces a three-and-out thanks to a sack by Myles Jack and Leon Jacobs on second down. Still only 3-0.

1:41 p.m.: Jaguars punt for the third time. Offensive line is getting wrecked by the Texans pass rush and offense has showed little life. Defense also erupting on sideline while offense was on the field.

1:30 p.m.: Houston hits a chip shot field goal after a long drive. Deshaun Watson converted several third downs but missed an open Duke Johnson for a touchdown on third down. 3-0 Texans, Jaguars need a big drive on offense.

1:26 p.m.: Houston just completed a big third-down to Hopkins but the ball clearly hit the ground. No challenge from Jaguars HC Doug Marrone, Texans hit a big pass next play.

1:17 p.m.: Jaguars punt for the second time in two drives after Minshew misses a wide open Chark on third-down. LT Will Richardson was also beat badly on the play.

1:12: p.m.: Jaguars defense forces a three-and-out on their first possession, in large part due to two back-to-back great plays in coverage by Jalen Ramsey on DeAndre Hopkins.

1:06 p.m.: A Zach Cunningham sack on 2nd down after a failed blitz pickup ends the first drive. Minshew did convert one first down with a short pass to D.J. Chark.

1:01 p.m.: Jaguars will receive the opening kickoff.

12:25 p.m.: NFL Network's Mike Garafolo just reported that he's been told not to expect the Jaguars to hold quarterback Gardner Minshew back today and said 50 pass attempts isn't something that would surprise him in a game this season.

11:46 a.m.: It appears that Ronnie Harrison will be able to play today after being listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Jacksonville already had six players hurt, so this is a small positive break for them.
