Jaguars vs. Titans: The plays that defined week 3

T+he Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) walked out of Thursday Night Football with a much needed 20-7 victory over longtime rival Tennessee Titans, beating them for the first time since Dec. 24, 2016. . Play 1: Special teams turnover on the game's first punt
#Jaguars needed a positive break in the worst way to start this game. They knew coming into it this kind of turnover would be possible and Titans helped make it happen pic.twitter.com/U71yJQ3w8g

Play 2: Gardner Minshew tosses a dime to Dede Westbrook
Hell of a toss here by Gardner Minshew to fit it on the sideline. Great concentration by Dede Westbrook too. #Jaguars pic.twitter.com/ekidvwpZQb

Play 3: DJ Chark beats Malcolm Butler for his third touchdown of the season
Another deep toss with great placement by Gardner Minshew, but man, DJ Chark has gotten really, really good. Baptizes Malcolm Butler here for the touchdown pic.twitter.com/07FTbZUuVA

Plays 4 & 5: Calais Campbell returns to form with a pair of dominating plays
Calais took over the game on back-to-back plays to end the first. He played like 2017 Calais. #Jaguars pic.twitter.com/txJZvsxMGu

Play 6: A.J. Bouye came up big throughout the game, including this key third-down stop
#Jaguars CB A.J. Bouye was matched up with rookie WR A.J. Brown most of the game, and he won those battles handily pic.twitter.com/LAVl9kFStO

Plays 7, 8 & 9: Jaguars defense stiffens near the goal line to stop the Titans earliest threat to score
This goal line stand had big plays from all three units.

2nd down: Backup MLB Najee Goode tips a would be TD
3rd down: Ronnie Harrison makes a great breakup on another would be TD

Play 10: Gardner Minshew and DJ Chark connect for a beautiful back shoulder pass downfield
Remember 2018 when the #Jaguars offense kept wasting plays by throwing bad back shoulders to Moncreif? Minshew to Chark is a much better connection pic.twitter.com/DVUJsafUtQ

Play 11: Dede Westbrook drops it, but Gardner Minshew gave him a perfect touchdown opportunity
This was Gardner Minshew's best ball of the night IMO, but gets dropped #Jaguars pic.twitter.com/FXsPGMZDFa

Play 12: Josh Allen makes a veteran move to force a fumble on third-down
One of the best things about Yannick Ngakoue has always been his awareness to reach for the ball even if he isn't getting to the QB. 7th overall pick Josh Allen is the same type of heady player, it looks like. #Jaguars pic.twitter.com/AMju3s0EFZ

Play 13: More than half of the Jaguars defensive line meets at the quarterback
Josh Allen, Calais Campbell and Yannick Ngakoue meet at the QB. Once 91 is healthy again, I am not sure how you consistently block those three pic.twitter.com/NqjxhESwEl

Play 14: Leonard Fournette comes up huge on a third-down reception to move the team into field goal range

Play 15: Josh Allen bulldozes Jack Conklin into Marcus Mariota on third-down
#Jaguars first-round pick Josh Allen pushes Jack Conklin into his own quarterback to force a sack pic.twitter.com/v41FDg0xnZ

Play 16: Leonard Fournette ices the game with his best run of the 2019 season
Gonna try to look at Fournette's negative runs with the coaches film angle tomorrow but at least this worked? #Jaguars pic.twitter.com/mLgVMkQ6qv
