5.4 million viewers tuned into NFL Network to see the Jacksonville Jaguars make a statement to the rest of the AFC with a 25-20 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 5.

"Viewership for Sunday's game featuring the Jacksonville Jaguars' 25-20 win over the Buffalo Bills in London was 5.4 million viewers* (TV+Digital) – up +11% versus NFL Network's first International game in 2022 between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints in Week 4 (4.9 million)," the NFL said in a release.

"Digital streaming across NFL+ and NFL digital platforms delivered an average minute audience of 291K – the second-highest digital AMA for an NFL Network International game behind only the New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers Week 5 game in 2022. Additionally, the 291K digital AMA is up +21% versus Vikings-Saints last year (241K)."

The Jaguars' winning efforts were led by a career day from Travis Etienne, some late-game heroics from Trevor Lawrence, Calvin Ridley, and Darious Williams, and seemingly some much-needed magic still left over from the 2022 season.

The Jaguars also did it all while spending 10 days in London and becoming the first-ever NFL team to play international games in back-to-back weeks, going 2-0 in the process.

"I think it's just a credit to the players. Defense has the offense's back, offense has the defense's back, special teams both. I just think that that's where the difference was with the players," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said.

"Offensive struggles in the second quarter, we missed opportunities to kick some field goals, we took points off the board, which we can't do, but the defense went out there and held them to seven points in the first half and really did an outstanding job. Again, credit the players. They really understood this type of game. We as a team are figuring out that we're very capable of winning these types of games, and this is a step in that direction."
