The Jacksonville Jaguars are entering Week 16 with legitimate questions at the quarterback position.

There is a very real chance the Jaguars won't start Trevor Lawrence at quarterback for the first time since he was drafted, with Lawrence entering the concussion protocol after a 23-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.

If Lawrence, who hasn't practiced this week, is unable to play on Sunday, that means the Jaguars would turn to backup quarterback C.J. Beathard.

"Obviously, we spend a lot of time in that room talking through the entire plan. We’ve been doing this now for two years of building plans, talking through concepts, all the time from training camp," Jaguars offensive coordinator Press Taylor said on Thursday.

"Good feel for what they each like individually, but both like collectively. I think a lot of it, too, is conversation about using the pieces around you. This guy does this really well, I’m confident in how he runs this, how he sees this. It’s putting guys in that position and then regardless of the quarterback, they both think very similar in that aspect. I think that’s part of what he was getting at.”

In Week 15, Lawrence completed 25 passes on 43 attempts for 264 yards and one touchdown, while also losing two fumbles.

So, where does Lawrence rank in the QB Index entering Week 16? NFL.com explains below.

"I'm still trying to figure out how Lawrence fumbled away possession on a scramble that appeared headed toward an advantageous result in the first half of a game that was just about to turn in Jacksonville's favor,"

NFL.com said.

"Jaguars fans are probably similarly confused about their team's performance in the last three weeks. In the loss to Baltimore, Lawrence didn't muck up his stat line with interceptions, as he'd done a week earlier, but something was still off with the Jaguars, who had ample opportunities to take control of this game but wasted nearly all of them. I wonder how much Lawrence's recent ankle injury is affecting his play. He's still throwing some excellent, precise passes, but he's not as consistent as he should be. Really, that's the story of most of his season. Now, we wait to see if he'll clear the concussion protocol before Sunday's showdown with the Bucs."

Here is where we will track Lawrence's rank in the QB Index each week:
