Six Offensive Players Inactive for Jets in Week 16

FB Nick Bawden and OT Duane Brown amongst those unavailable to face Commanders

Nick Bawden won't make a 15th consecutive appearance for the New York Jets in Week 16 afterall.

The veteran fullback, who was elevated from the Practice Squad during an eventful week, landed amongst the Jets' seven inactives ahead of Sunday's home finale against the Washington Commanders. Bawden has been dealing with a knee injury the past few days. Offensive tackle Duane Brown, who popped up on the injury report on Friday, is also down for the December 24 non-conference matchup along with reserve offensive tackle Austin Deculus.

Veteran receiver Randall Cobb is a healthy scratch after back-to-back appearances. Targeted four times, Cobb managed one 15-yard touchdown catch over the two-game clip.

Quarterbacks Zach Wilson (concussion) and Aaron Rodgers (rehabbing Achilles) are unavailable as the Jets take the field for one final time at MetLife Stadium this season. As a result, Trevor Siemian will be the Jets' starting field general on Sunday with Brett Rypien backing him up.

Backup cornerback Bryce Hall is the lone defensive player on New York's inactive list. He hasn't played since November 24.

Jets' offensive linemen Carter Warren and Max Mitchell, who were out for the Week 15 road game in Miami, are both back in the mix this week.

Running back Brian Robinson is the biggest name on Washington's list of inactives.

The Jets (5-9) and the Commanders (4-10) kick off at 1:00 pm ET in East Rutherford.
