Veterans Randall Cobb and Carl Lawson continue to see their roles shrink as the New York Jets' season progresses.

Cobb and Lawson are two of the Jets' seven gameday inactives for the Week 13 non-conference matchup against the Atlanta Falcons

It's fifth time this season that the 33-year-old Cobb won't dress. After being tabbed a healthy scratch against Buffalo, the veteran wide receiver suited up for the Black Friday matchup against Miami. He saw only seven snaps on offense. Cobb has underwhelmingly accounted for three receptions for 20 yards on 12 targets through seven games this season.

Lawson is a healthy scratch for the third week in a row. The 28-year-old defensive end, who has been inactive five times in the last six games, has been up five times this season. He has four tackles to his credit. First-round rookie Will McDonald has essentially replaced Lawson in the Jets' edge rusher rotation.

Offensive tackles Billy Turner and Austin Deculus are inactive on Sunday as bookend Mekhi Becton returns to the lineup. Backup cornerback Bryce Hall, sixth-round rookie linebacker Zaire Barnes and emergency quarterback Zach Wilson round out the list.

The Jets (4-7) attempt to snap a four-game losing streak when the Falcons (5-6) visit MetLife Stadium on December 3. Veteran quarterback Tim Boyle, who began the season as a third-stringer, will get his second start for Gang Green. The game will kick off at 1:00 pm ET on FOX.

Wide receiver Mack Hollins and cornerback Mike Hughes are amongst those down for Atlanta.
