Lions' Week 7 Estimated Wednesday Injury Report

Lions' initial Week 7 injury report released.

The Detroit Lions elected to hold a walk-through rather than typical practice Wednesday, opting to dial back the intensity at Allen Park after a series of physical games.

Another one is set for Sunday, as the Lions will take on the ferocious Baltimore Ravens defense. Mike Macdonald's defense has been terrorizing opponents throughout the season, with a dominant pass rush and a solid secondary.

Three Lions were listed as non-participants in the walk-through: Jonah Jackson, David Montgomery and Craig Reynolds.

Reynolds is reportedly dealing with a hamstring/toe injury, coming off of the win against the Buccaneers.

Six players were listed as limited, including Jahmyr Gibbs, Sam LaPorta and Brian Branch

A unique aspect of Macdonald's defense is its adaptability. As Dan Campbell pointed out Wednesday, the Lions will be facing a defense that changes its looks each week.

"When you watch them, over these last five weeks, they're different in how they play every opponent. They were different the way they played Pittsburgh, they were different the way they played Tennessee, they were different the way they played Indianapolis," Campbell explained to reporters. "So, this coordinator (Mike Macdonald) is going to, he'll have what he feels like is a recipe for us on how he wants to attack us.

"Some teams, it was almost all shell. It's all two safety, no pressure. Some, it's all man-to-man, some it's high pressure, no two safety looks, they're all one safety. There's some (Cover) zeroes in there. He's gotta decide what he wants to stop for us, what's most important. Is it the explosives, or is it our run game? We'll be ready to adapt and adjust with whatever, and we'll know during the game what's going on. I would say it's evolving. He changes it up every week by opponent."
