Naturally, the first snowy practice of the season resulted in the first snowball fight.

While it stands to reason quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is entering his 15th winter with the Green Bay Packers, would be the one to avoid, a lethal weapon emerged on Wednesday.

JK Scott.

“Ask Montravius (Adams),” running back Aaron Jones said. “He got hit in the face pretty bad. It was hilarious.”

By the punter?

“JK has a cannon,” Jones said.

Adams heard the conversation and walked over to Jones’ locker.

“It was good aim. Good aim,” Adams said with a smile.

Interjected Jones: “No, it was really good aim. He was midsentence talking to me and turning and JK just pegged him. He ate snow. He literally ate snow.”

Scott figures he hit Adams from 25 yards away.

“So what happened was everybody was throwing snowballs,” Scott said. “I was getting to the parking lot and I was going to mess with him. So, I grabbed some snow off the car and threw it right on a line and it went right in his mouth. I was like, ‘Dang.’”

For a moment, there was some remorse.

“I’ve seen people get hurt with snowballs when they get hit in the face,” Scott said. “As soon as I threw it, I was like, ‘Dang, I shouldn’t have thrown it.’ But he didn’t get hurt.”

Scott’s snowball prowess stands to reason. A native of Denver, Scott has seen plenty of snow in his lifetime.

“Oh, yeah, I’m experienced,” Scott said. “Have you seen ‘Elf’?

Adams had the last laugh – against Jones.

“I guess it was for laughing at him,” Jones said. “We were getting out of the car and I pulled out the helmet from the back seat. There was snow on top of the car and the next thing I know he’s just wiping it and I could feel a chunk hit my head and my shoulder. So, I guess he got me back. He was a little salty.”
