Halftime notes for Patriots' preseason Week 2 game vs. Titans

-Joejuan Williams had a great bounce back half from an up and down game last week. Williams looked strong in his opportunities against their top receiver Corey Davis. He also did not allow a completion. He might have played his way above Duke Dawson on the depth chart.

-Isaiah Wynn looked strong in his return to football. He looks ready to go for Week 1.

-Damien Harris put his one cut ability on display in the first half. He broke off a few nice runs, which should make every imagination run wild with him, Michel, White, and Burkhead splitting carries.

-Brian Hoyer's first half was nothing short of ugly. He made some poor decisions, missed badly on some throws, threw with no zip or spiral, and took several sacks.

-The interior offensive line really struggled and the Titans defense seemed to outsmart them with blitz packages that guys like James Ferentz could not handle.

-Chase Winovich has been all over the field tonight. Virtually in the backfield every play. Very disruptive tonight. His presence has been felt in a big way for Ryan Tannehill.

-Obi Melifonwu allowed an easy touchdown to Delanie Walker. Looked lost out there. Not quick enough processing.

-Danny Shelton appears higher than Mike Pennel on the depth chart and has had a strong summer, including tonight.

-Titans did a real good job of picking away at our defense by connecting on several intermediate routes. Constantly connected on these 8-10 yard routes.

-Jake Bailey recorded a 5.2 second hang time out of his own endzone, according to Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston. Interesting note in this punter battle.

-JC Jackson was pretty undisciplined tonight. He struggled with penalties in the AFC Championship game. Hopefully, Jackson does not get in the habit of breaking the rules.
