Here's what Bills are saying about Jonathan Jones' vicious hit that knocked Josh Allen out of game

When New England Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones was penalized for unnecessary in the second half of the Week 4 game agains the Buffalo Bills, the penalty didn't just give Buffalo better field position, but it also took their starting quarterback, out of the game. He didn't return and is now in concussion protocol.

Immediately after the play happened, many were looking for Jones to be ejected from the game. That includes players and coaches from the Bills, who were very unhappy with what happened to their franchise QB.
“There’s no room in football for that,” McDermott said after the game via the BillsWire. “It’s a shame to see a player like Josh, or any player, go down from a hit like that."
McDermott also said he pressured the officials to eject Jones from the ball game.
“I asked for an explanation and thought (Jonathan Jones) should have been thrown out, but I won’t get into that. That’s for the league to look into,” McDermott said.
As for some of Buffalo's defensive players, they felt that if the table were turned they would have been the ones watching from the locker room.
“That’s the first thing that came out of my mouth on the sideline,” safety Micah Hyde told reporters during postgame. “If one of us did that to 12 (Patriots QB Tom Brady) we wouldn’t have been in the game anymore. There’s no way we would’ve continued to play in that game.”
The Bills other starting safety, Jordan Poyer, agreed with his teammate.
“I think that you’d probably be thrown out of the football game,” Poyer said. “If that type of hit happens on 12, you probably get thrown out of the game.”
As for the vibe in Buffalo on Monday morning - the front page of the Buffalo News give a frame-by-frame of the hit on Allen. Ben Volin of the Boston Globe shared the newspaper on his Twitter account:
