Las Vegas Raiders' Davante Adams Hosts Third Annual LV Youth Camp

Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams hosted his third annual Las Vegas youth football camp on Sunday.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has always made an effort to give back to whichever community he is a part of.

For the third straight year, the six-time Pro-Bowl wide receiver hosted his youth football camp in Las Vegas, which he has held for local Las Vegas youth since he came to Sin City in 2022.

"I mean, just the feedback that they give is why we continue to come out here," Adams told reporters at the event. "I mean, they show up, the kids love it, we have a great time. Obviously, come out here and show out and try to just sell it as much as I can, but it's really a great time for me.

"So, it's good, and it's obviously my third one out here, but I've been doing this -- I think it's my ninth total. I did a few back in the Bay Area as well, so very familiar with this process, and we're just going to keep going."

Adams, who is already entering his 11th NFL season, could use the spring as an opportunity to relax and get his mind and body ready for the Raiders' looming offseason workouts and training camp. While he likely has been able to get his needed rest, Adams knows the importance of what his impact can have on the community.

"I just think about myself being one of these young kids and having the opportunity to meet one of my favorite players," Adams said. "And obviously, they're coming out here, they've got love for 1-7, so I try to reciprocate it by coming out and giving them my best and just enjoying a little time with them, running around. We're not out here too serious, but we come out to have fun and still get better."

Adams is approaching his third season with the Silver and Black. In his two seasons with the club so far, the star wideout has totaled 2,660 yards and 22 touchdowns on 203 receptions.

Prior to Las Vegas, Adams spent the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 overall pick.
