Additions in the NFL offseason, unfortunately also mean subtractions.

On Wednesday, the Las Vegas Raiders announced that they had waived punter Julian Diaz and wide receiver Isaiah Zuber.

Diaz, who signed a futures contract with the Raiders in January, has yet to play a down in the NFL.

He came into the league in 2021 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Nevada, where he served as the program's placekicker and punter for three seasons.

Diaz received All-Mountain West honorable mention for his 2020 campaign.

Zuber was also granted a futures contract in January.

The soon-to-be 26-year-old wideout was a Raiders' practice squad member last season and did not make a game appearance. He was a part of the club's final pre-season roster cuts before being signed to the practice squad the following day.

Zuber played in the USFL for its 2022 season, where he led the league in touchdown receptions as a member of the Houston Gamblers.

He previously was with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and San Francisco 49ers practice squads.

Zuber has, however, seen game action, having played four games for the New England Patriots during the 2020 season. He posted 29 yards on two receptions while taking 26 offensive snaps.

New England signed Zuber as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State.
