The Las Vegas Raiders fell to the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in Week 6 at Allegiant Stadium. After beginning the 2026 season with a 3-0 record, the Raiders have dropped three games in a row to move to 3-3 on the year.

Even with three straight losses, the Raiders are still in a good place regarding their rebuild. Additionally, Las Vegas played a much better all-around game in Week 6 against Buffalo than it did in Week 5, when it lost 45-17 to the New England Patriots.

Against New England, the Raiders went down early and could never recover. It was a rough day on both sides of the football. This Sunday, against star quarterback Josh Allen and Buffalo, it was a different story.

The pace of the game worked in the Raiders' favor in the first half, allowing them to stay in it and enter the halftime locker room with the game tied at 13-13. For an offense as prolific as the Bills, the Raiders did a solid job holding them in check.

A Few Pass-Catchers Have Big Days

The wide receiver position is one of the Raiders' biggest weaknesses, but Jalen Nailor's return to the lineup helped settle the passing game. Nailor only made one catch for nine yards, but he makes a difference when he is out there. It was Tre Tucker who led the way for Las Vegas in the receiving game, tallying five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end Michael Mayer also had a highly productive day, finishing the outing with seven catches for 95 yards.

Brock Bowers was quiet by his standards against the Bills, notching four catches for 70 yards. At the end of the day, a loss is still a loss, but Las Vegas' passing game showed some signs of life.

Slow Third Quarter Leads to High-Scoring Fourth Quarter

The Raiders once again had a slow third quarter, notching zero points while Buffalo scored 10 of their own. However, a 17-point fourth quarter propelled Las Vegas right back into the game. Unfortunately, the Raiders fell just short. However, they showed that they can hang around with some of the best teams around the league, something they struggled to show against the Patriots.

Although the Raiders are 3-3, they are in the midst of one of the toughest stretches of any team in the NFL. It's still a loss, but it was a much prettier one for the Raiders compared to Week 5.
