Banks is one of the best cornerbacks in this year's draft and is projected by many to be a first-round selection.
The young cornerback ended his career at Maryland on a high note, earning All-Big Ten honorable mention honors for his 2022 season, having registered 38 tackles, eight pass breakups, an interception, and half a sack in 12 games.
This final campaign followed an unfortunate 2021 season in which Banks underwent a season-ending injury after the second game.
Banks played in five of the Terrapins' 2020 games the season before while making three starts.
His talent was utilized right away when he joined Maryland his freshman season. Banks made eight starts in 11 appearances, recording 28 tackles, two pass breakups, and an interception.
NFL Next Gen Stats ranked Banks first within his position group with an athletic score of 98 for his performance at this year's NFL Combine.
Banks posted a 4.35-second 40-yard dash time, a 42-inch vertical jump, and an 11-foot-4 broad jump.
Currently, the Raiders have 12 picks in this month's draft.
