Raiders Offensive Line Gearing Up for Tough Stretch

In this story:
The Las Vegas Raiders have five games remaining in the regular season, with three of those five games are against AFC West opponents.
Nearly all five teams the Raiders will face over the next five weeks have formidable defensive lines.
AFC West games against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Indianapolis Colts remain for Las Vegas.
Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor shared his mindset heading into Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
"This game is the biggest one of the season because it's the next one," Eluemunor said. "We don't have a bunch of time. The clock is ticking. If we don't get it down now, shoot, it's not going to happen."
Eluemunor explained how the offensive line is approaching the upcoming stretch of opponents.
"Play your ass off," Eluemunor said. "Go out there and do what you need to do. Everyone has a job, whether it's the left tackle blocking whoever is on the left side. Whether it's me at right tackle, blocking [Danielle] Hunter or [Khalil] Mack. [Kansas City] Chiefs, [Indianapolis] Colts, [Denver] Broncos. We all have a job to do."
Las Vegas has struggled in the second half of games this season. The veteran offensive lineman is confident the Raiders have the right players to change that and turn this season around.
"It's 100 percent, because there's no difference between the defense in the first quarter and the fourth quarter," Eluemunor said. "Yes, they make some adjustments, but it's still the same personnel.
"It's still the same players. Maybe they're playing a little bit better now [in the second half], and they're improving on a certain aspect of their defense that they weren't doing great in before [in the first half].
"For us, we need to just continue doing what we've been doing and be able to replicate that in the third and the fourth quarter, which I think we'll do a good job of this week."
Although it will be an uphill battle, Eluemunor and the Raiders still have something to play for.
"Everything is still there, everything is still in front of us," Eluemunor said.
"We're lucky to be in this position where everything is still in front of us. As an offensive line, we know what we want to do. We know what we can become. We know we're right there on the brim of it. It's just about taking the next step forward, getting over the hump, and becoming the offensive line we want to be."
Las Vegas' offensive line was among the best in the National Football League last season. As they prepare for the final five games of the regular season, they return from the bye week, ready to finish on a high note.
The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
