With the NFL's 100th anniversary rearing to get underway, there is no doubt that a litany of 'Top-100' lists is about to be spoon-fed to the wide array of fanbases craving new material ahead of September.

For Los Angeles Rams fans, reading a list of top-100 players is sure to be an enjoyable experience. Recently, USA Today's Touchdown Wire used a unique formula to determine the best 100 players in the game by compiling 14 different lists of the 11 best players at every position. Of those names, they then compiled a list of the top 100 players in the NFL today.

Aaron Donald came in at No. 1.

One of just three defensive linemen in the top 10, Donald was able to maintain his spot at the top of the league after picking up a second-straight Defensive Player of the Year award in 2018 and helping his Rams reach Super Bowl LIII. It is commonly thought that Donald is the best single player in the NFL, let alone at his position.

In 2018, Donald put up jaw-dropping numbers: 113 QB pressures, 21 sacks, 24 QB hits, and 64 QB hurries. Then when you add in his 37 tackles, eight assists, and 56 stops, you easily have the best player in the game.

There's nothing to say that Donald will not have another monster season in 2019, and a second-straight trip to the Super Bowl is not out of question. If Los Angeles fans are lucky, we could be right back here next year, discussing Donald's continued reign at the top of the league.
