Matthew Stafford Preaches Focus Ahead of Thursday Night Football vs. Saints

In this story:
The Los Angeles Rams have had an incredible turnaround in recent weeks, winning three of their last four games and moving back to .500 for the first time since September.
In fact, the only loss over that stretch was an overtime shocker to the now 11-3 Ravens.
Because of that stretch of success, the Rams have found themselves back in the playoff hunt, sitting seventh in the NFC standings with a critical matchup vs. the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football.
Despite that, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was clear that no one on the team is satisfied.
“I don’t think anybody is satisfied at the moment, to be honest with you. If you are, you’re in the wrong place,” Stafford said Tuesday. “There’s a lot to be had throughout the rest of the season but we have to take it one game at a time. We understand that. I do think that coach has done an unbelievable job of keeping everybody’s focus week-to-week."
That focus will be extremely important this week in particular, with the Rams having a short week to prepare for the Saints.
After all, having just four days to prepare for an opponent is never easy. But the fact that the Saints are also one of the teams that L.A. is battling for a Wild Card berth.

Not to mention, their margin for error - regardless of the opponent - is razor-thin.
"It’s really a whole lot easier to do sometimes when you have a Thursday game, right? If you’re spending time thinking about something else, you’re wrong," Stafford said. "You’re not getting prepared. All our guys are all in and that’s a good thing. It’s where we want to be.”
The Rams and Saints will kick off from SoFi Stadium at 5:15 PT.
