Ravens Trade Rumor: Packers Aaron Jones To Baltimore?

In this story:
The Baltimore Ravens were the talk of the NFL as the offseason got underway. Finally, on draft day, the team finally came to a long-term deal with quarterback Lamar Jackson, and now it's time to focus on building the offense around him.
General manager Eric DeCosta signed free agent wideouts Nelson Agholor and Odell Beckham Jr. and then drafted Boston College's Zay Flowers, and now he may be looking to upgrade in the backfield. If the Ravens were going to upgrade anywhere else on their offense, it would probably be at running back.
A possible trade scenario that was proposed by NFL Analytics Network would bring Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones to Baltimore in exchange for a second and fifth-round pick in next year's NFL Draft.
Last season, Kenyan Drake led the team with 109 carries while J.K. Dobbins recovered from a knee injury along with Gus Edwards. Edwards and Dobbins are both in the final season of their deals and the Ravens might be concerned about Dobbins' workload after an injury.
Jones could potentially thrive in a Baltimore offense that led the league last year averaging 4.9 yards per carry.
The Packers might be ready to move on from Jones with A.J. Dillon in-house, and the Ravens have the draft capital to potentially make something happen. And yet ... Jones has a large cap hit this year and it's a monster in 2024. ... So would you rather make a gigantic commitment to a 29-year-old Jones or ride it out with a 25-year-old Dobbins playing on a cheap rookie contract? We strongly lean toward the latter, and we bet the Ravens do as well.
