BREAKING: Alvin Kamara, Ryan Ramczyk Status For Saints-Bucs Game, 12/31
NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reports New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara will play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South's Week 17 showdown.
Kamara has been dealing with an undisclosed illness that caused him to miss Friday's practice in preparation for Sunday's clash with the Bucs.
The team's punter, Lou Headley, was out of Friday's workout with an illness and is listed as questionable.
After discovering a cartilage defect in his left knee, the Saints placed All-Pro right tackle Ryan Ramczyk on injured reserve. Ramczyk, 29, is seeking consultation from surgeons to determine the best course of action. Unfortunately, this issue may shorten his NFL career.
