TALK IS CHEAP

This has to be the week that the Saints turn the corner. The locker room mood centered around focus, execution, and consistency. The past two games have left a really bad taste in the player's mouths, and they are obviously tired of the losing. Of course, saying things versus going out and doing what's needed to be done is a big difference. Here's to hoping we see it on Sunday.

START RIGHT

There's one way for the Saints to approach this game that will ensure a win, and that's getting started right and putting drives together. Last week at home, New Orleans had 11 drives and 6 of those produced 5 yards and under. That undoubtedly won't cut it, so we're hoping for marked improvement for the offense, which puts a lot of focus on Pete Carmichael Jr. and his play calling.

BRING THE PRESSURE AND FINISH

If Derek Carr can help the Saints convert early, then that puts a lot of pressure on Mac Jones. In turn, that can really help the defense put the clamps down and be able to steer in the right direction to a win. The New Orleans pass rush hasn't been able to get home as much as they did in the first two games, so changing that up will be a big difference maker for how the things go. The edge defenders need to come to play here.
