Today, the Saints close out their three-game home stand today with a Noon kickoff against the Vikings. New Orleans has yet to find the win column in this stay in the Caesar's Superdome, dropping to 1-3 on the young season. Minnesota comes in as one of only three unbeaten NFL teams remaining at 4-0 along with San Francisco and Kansas City before today's games.

As per NFL policy, New Orleans released their inactives for today's game about 90-minutes before kickoff. Among them a pair of defensive lineman. Though there are no specifics about what sickness is involved, three Saints from the D-line were originally listed as questionable for today's game due to illness. After a toe injury kept him from participating in practice for the last two weeks, rookie Christen Miller missed practice due to a reported illness. Then, Saturday morning another defensive lineman, Nathan Shepherd, was added to the questionable list because of illness. The third, Vernon Broughton, was added Saturday evening. Only Miller has advanced off the questionable roster to play today.
