Seahawks Ex Russell Wilson Reacts to Death of Alex Collins

The Seattle Seahawks and NFL world are mourning the death of former running back Alex Collins. The 28-year-old passed away in a motorcycle accident Sunday night in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Former Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who played with Collins for three seasons, posted a heartfelt message to social media in remembrance to "one of his favorite teammates."
"To one of my favorite teammates. You brought joy to every huddle. Keep Dancin’ in Heaven. Love you AC. Forever missed. RIP," Wilson tweeted.

Collins was a fifth-round draft pick by Seattle 2016. In 25 career games for the Seahawks, he posted 613 rushing yards and five touchdowns. He also spent two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Collins family released a statement following Alex's death.
"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Alex Collins this morning," Collins' family said in a statement. "Alex was cherished by his family and friends as well as supporters from all around the world. All who truly know him can attest to his drive, determination, and larger-than-life personality. We kindly request your thoughts and prayers for our family during this difficult time. We ask for privacy as we navigate through our grief. We will provide updates regarding funeral arrangements as they become available."
