Seahawks Make Pair of Trades in Latest 3-Round Mock Draft

The Seattle Seahawks are busy making moves in the latest three-round mock draft from NFL.com.

NFL.com released an updated three-round mock draft on Monday and has the Seattle Seahawks projected to be at the center of some interesting first-round action.

In this particular mock, Seattle makes two first-round trades, though the team is playing on the less-aggressive sides of things by trading back.

Here's out it plays out:

Seattle trades No. 5 pick and Day 3 pick to Carolina Panthers for No. 9 pick and 2024 first-round pick

- Panthers select Kentucky quarterback Will Levis at No. 5

- Seattle selects Texas Tech EDGE Tyree Wilson at No. 9

Raise your hand if you've seen a Seahawks mock that had Wilson being Seattle's first selection. The Seahawks will certainly need to add talent to their defensive line, and the selection of Wilson is looking increasingly likely, especially if the Seahawks stand pat at No. 5.

Seattle trades No. 20 pick to the Buffalo Bills for No. 27 pick, third- and fourth-round pick, per the mock

- Bills select USC receiver Jordan Addison at No. 20

- Seattle selects Florida offensive guard O'Cyrus Torrence at No. 27

After the year that rookie offensive linemen Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas just had, the Seahawks don't necessarily need to focus on the o-line late in the first round. But if they have a chance to bolster a group that played a bit above expectations this past season, might as well take it. While Lucas and Cross hold down the tackle spots, Torrence would give the Seahawks talent to build around on the inside of the o-line.

Here are Seattle's picks for the rest of the mock:

Round 2

- No. 37: Tyrique Stevenson, CB, Miami

- No. 52: Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee

Round 3

- No. 83: Jack Campbell, LB, Iowa

- (from Buffalo) No. 91: Keeanu Benton, DT, Wisconsin
